Guest guest Posted October 8, 2006 Report Share Posted October 8, 2006 I just poured a batch of yogurt into my collinder for dripping, and the yogurt at the bottom of the container was grainy. I'm not worried that it is a good batch. I'm just trying to figure out why it has this consistency at the bottom. I made it, of course, according to btvc instructions as usual. I even strained it after it cooled, but before I added the starter. Everything was done properly, but here I have this grainy texture only at the bottom. Weird. Any ideas?
