Guest guest
Anyone have an idea of what to use for binding a croquet if nut flour is not an option? I'd like to make bean burgers for dinner, and I have soaked beans all ready when I realized I couldn't adapt my standard recipe b/c it uses bread crumbs (and onion), and another dd of mine is allergic to nuts. Guest guest
Ellen, I use avacado and squash.. I never use nut in my meatballs, and just made croquets for the dirst time two nights ago, and just used avacado to hold it together. they were wonderful! Guest guest
Ha! I get to answer my own question! I used an egg and a fair bit of cheddar, and put that along w. the beans and sauteed onions in the blender and then pan-fried. They were very tasty! Even tasted a bit like potato latkes....
