Day 3 questions

Hey all -

I just started this diet with my son who is 11 ASD, been GFCF and chicken egg

free for years. He doesn't have diarrhea problems, but is very yeasty (itchy,

gassy, stimmy, and reflux) and has malabsorbtion issues. He is actually big for

his age, go figure.

We have been trying for a week to do the first 2 days intro diet, kept

screwing it up. I think we have it now.

He has been eating chicken and hamburger patties that I grill on the barbque -

is that okay? I used sea salt and pepper?

Won't touch the eggs or jello (texture thing)

Won't eat the soup.

Is mad that I cooked his carrots, he threw them in the sink.

Won't drink any of the juices, just water. (I think just because they are

different, so I will keep trying with these) He used to drink watered down

Gerber Pear juice.

So basically, two days of meat and water.

Supplements:

Kirkmans Vit. C caps, nu thera caps, GABA caps, Zinc caps, and Cod liver oil

gelcaps.

I took him off of the pro-bio gold, so I need to replace his probiotics with

another one that has no dairy, gluten, egg, or sugars! He cannot have goats

milk, so the yogurt is out.

Tomorrow is day 3, so I was wondering if he could have a steak or some roast?

Stage 1 just says 'meat', boiled or broiled (is broiled close enough to

grilled?)

How long do I stay in stage 1? He is really wanting his raw carrots and salad

greens.

Also, I made the homemade applesauce with the Fuji apples I had on hand. All

of the kids hated it. Does the type of apple make a difference? I bought some

golden delicious today?

Thanks for all of your help, you guys are great!
