what a surprise

Yesterday I went for my monthly med check and I got the biggest

surprise. I have been researching the MGB and have been reading your

posts. I had downloaded and printed much from the MGB site and had

talked with our new insurance company about the MGB. Here I sat in

the examining room with my folder of MGB information and Dr.

Rutledge's clinic when in walks my Dr with DR. Rutledge's clinic info

to share with me. What an answer to prayer! He and I talked for

some time about two of his patients, husband and wife who have

undergone the procedure and have had great success. He also informed

me that I would eventually not have the amount of medications I

presently take...$120.00 a month with insurance..wow, that will be a

savings! I had an appointment with my cardiologist last Monday and

shared information with him, also. He is supportive of my having the

surgery. I have to undergo tests on OCt 12 at Wake Med to see if my

heart can go through the procedure. I had a mild heart attack this

past March so I can understand and appreciate his concern. I am so

blessed to be only an hour away from Durham.

My family Dr. said that he will be contacting Dr. R's clinic soon.

Our school system is changing insurance companies in Oct and I will

no longer be BCBS but Wellpath. Please be in prayer that my testing

on OCT 12 go well and that the cardiologist give his final approval

for the operation.
