Guest guest
Hi Fliss: I have always read your posts with interest, because of our common ailment, but also because I spent many of my formative years in England (age 7-14). We lived first in Surrey, at Walton-on-the-Hill near Tadworth I think, and then in Sussex, in a tiny little town named Rusper. I attended boarding schools, and count those years of many of my happiest memories. It brings back those happy memories when I hear you talk of the traditional foods, and just the way you write, with someone with that lovely british wit! I used to love spotted dick, a desert which was a favorite at boarding school. Have you had it? I know this doesn't have anything directly to do with cp, but when I can remember happier, easier times, that directly affects my emotional well being, which directly affects my pain! So, I just wanted to send you a little personal note to share that with you, and hope one day to come back to England and visit my alma maters Farlington School, and Buckswood Grange! Love and thanks to you for your wonderful posts. Robin
