Guest guest
Hi everyone, I've had so much trouble posting since my divorce. I am now Patty Duley formerly Jensen. I am scheduled for another ERCP on July 23, 2004. My pain has been gradually getting worse. I was in the hospital last month with another panc attack. I was at work and I didn't feel very well. I had the taste of soap in my mouth. I luckily work at a hospital, so I went to my supervisor and she said that I needed to go to the ER right away. I found out that I was suffering from metabolic keto acidosis and a panc attack. I was in the hospital for only 1 day and sent home with pain meds and clear liquid diet. Well I slowly tried to change back to a regular diet but I have been unable to tolerate it. I can eat oatmeal, pretzels, pudding, yogurt, water, milk and hard candy. I just stay very nauseious and I am taking Zofran for that. My pain is constant but dealing with it. The good news is that I have just bought my own place and am now spending almost everyday with my kids. I think most of you will remember me from my story that while I was in the hospital in Dec. 2003 for a duel sphinctorotomy and stent placement my loving husband was out spending money on strippers and meeting women on a singles hook-up line because I could no longer satisfy him and was not able to do my wifely duties. I have lived with my parents since Jan,04 when I filed for divorce. Well long story short I left the marriage with only $7500 dollars and he got that back because I had to pay 50% of the mortgage on the house for 7 months and attorney fees. We also had a home equity loan of $ 50,000.00 which I found that he has spent. Mainly at strip clubs, hotels and car rentals for when he supposedly was out of town with friends. The hard part was that I was receiving short term disability and had no other income and still had to pay half the mortgage. Well now I just bought a 2004 mobile home and the reason I qualified for the loan was because my credit was excellent and my brother was VP at the back and vouched for me. Normally he said I wouldn't be able to qualifiy for a loan until Todd had refinanced the home which he has 150 days to do. It is tough right now but I am at work and doing real well. My money is tight but I am going to get to start my second job after my surgery.(I worked part-time at a dept. store prior to getting sick) My ex- husband is in charge of security there. It's funny how people perceived him as this wonderful guy who SUPPOSEDLY WOULD GIVE HIS LIFE FOR HIS WIFE. The truth always comes out in the end. Gosh I didn't expect to write a novel but there has been so much that has happened since last post. Hope everyone is pain free Patty (Jensen) Duley Corydon, IN
