Guest guest
C, LOL.... see, the thing with me is, it WOULD be MY dog... that's the way my life goes! You know that song " Ironic " - it WILL rain on my wedding day (IF I'm lucky enough to even get past my limit of 2 1/2 months in a relationship), I always have spoons when I need a knife, and I will only win the lottery the day before I die. *sigh* maybe my OD is right... bleeding out on the table isn't such a far-fetched idea afterall, considering it's me we're talking about! I'm considering having a tape-recorder on hand for the anesthesia effects! I could use a good laugh, or at least be prepared to defend myself! Kate 5. Re: waking up from anesthesia (and going under!) I have wondered about this, but never had the nerve to ask. Did I passionately embrace the orthopod who fixed my clenched up carpal tunnels and gave me back the use of my fingers? Did I do worse with the general surgeon who removed an (ahem!) from an indelicate portion of my nether regions? Did I pledge undying faithfulness to my very totally and happily married (with six kids, yet) oral surgeon? I have no memory of any of it. Sigh. Oh well. I hope that at least I was a fun patient. Maybe I told a good joke or two. Wish I could remember at least one of them! C. Kate, the version of your aphorism I've seen on local bumper stickers is " my karma ran over your dogma. " But I don't much think I woke up saying that one. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Katrina M.
