Guest guest
Lara In all of my visits pre surgery, I was told that I would have to have my lower jaw advanced 4 to 5 mm. When I met with my doctor the day after my surgery, he explained to me that he only advanced it 3mm. I guess everything looks different on paper, and once he got in there and started working on it, it only need to be advanced 3mm. It was also move over to the left 2mm. I can only suggest that if you are not comfortable with the information that this surgeon is not giving you enough information, then ask more questions. If you are still uncomfortable with the information you are given, then find another surgeon, and get a second opinion. You definitely don't want to have this surgery unless it is necessary. > I've tried looking in the message search for an answer, it did me no > good...
