Guest guest
Hey everyone, I got up this morning to discover i have no prescription mouth rinse left! No biggie I guess since im getting unwired tomorrow. I was ust wondering if there would be problems wiht just using normal mouthwash for a day just so that my breath don't stink! I know its no big deal since im going to be unwired tomorrow, Im sure i could go a day but it sure would be nice to have that minty feeling... anyone know of any probs with using normal mouthwash? I am 3 weeks post op and not bleeding or anythign anymore... shouldn't it be ok? Thanks, Kev Pouye wrote: Hi Carol, Congratulations on getting over the scariest bit...I've been holding my breath waiting to hear that you had got home OK. Now you have to heal and I know its tough, but it's only a matter of time. Please feel free to express yourself freely (the good and the bad) we want to hear it all. Maybe you just need to rest and recover....but good on you for being so brave and getting through it. After this...you can handle anything! Thinking of you, -- Re: Getting closer..about waking up in recovery Just a quick two cents worth. I'm 32 and in good health. I didn't know until I was in the OR that I was going to have a catheter. It freaked me out and I'm glad I didn't know sooner. My surgery (upper and lower) took about 4 1/2 hours. They kept the catheter in until the next morning, late, to make sure I was going to be capable to get up and use the bathroom. For me it was embarrassing more than anything ... but I can't imagine having gotten up ... so I guess it was worth it. > I ordered my Zip and Squeeze bags and head wrap yesterday for my > surgery on June 14th.
