17 year old daughter upper lower

It has been awhile since I have dropped in. Just wanted to thank

you all so much for everything because I lived at this web site for

a while. My 17 year old daughter had upper brought forward and

bottom brought back about 17 months ago. She is doing great! Got

her baces off back in January and her mouth is beautiful! She as no

problems at all. She healed very good. I do have to say though

that the surgery and recovery pretty knocked both of us on our

***** . It was hard. I myself seemed to suffer the side effects

just as much if not more. I lost about 10 lbs and got sorta

depressed about it all at first. I mean this was my baby girl and

it was really hard at times to just trust that everything was going

to be o.k. and worth it. It was emotional at first but looking back

would she do it again? yes! She's back playing fastpitch softball

(she's a pitcher) and is currently being recuited by colleges to

play softball after she graduates from high school next year.

Anyways, thanks again to everyone. You are all such a comfort.

That's great to hear.. I'll soon be that 17 yr old going through

surgery.
