Guest guest
Hey team, I am almost three weeks post op and I've been getting very creative in the kitchen, trying to think of different things to eat. I thought I'd share some of my ideas with you. Keep in mind, I wasn't wired shut so I am able to spoon things in around the second week or so. This is really good, tastes like apple pie with ice cream = cinnamon apple sauce (Motts is my favorite) & fat free vanilla frozen yogurt (Green's fat free frozen yogurt is so good - tastes like regular ice cream!) - put the apple sauce on top of the yogurt/ice cream in a bowl and enjoy, so good! = orange juice breakfast smoothie = three or four scoops of the Green's vanilla fat free frozen yogurt, orange juice, 1 banana, ice - blend and enjoy! = oreo smoothie - vanilla yogurt, ice, milk, Oreos, Uh - Oreo heaven! = bean burrito - without the burrito, take some refried beans, mix it with water to make it less thick, melt cheddar cheese on it, and then add sour cream and salsa - Mexican night! = Fully Dressed Spud = make instant potatoes, melt on it cheddar cheese, and dress it with whatever you want - chives, bacon bits, sour cream, chilli - sky's the limit, and its really good. = Turkey Stuffing - make the classic stove top stuffing and drizzle on it your authentic gravy or the kind from the store, both good, and there you go - its Thanksgiving! Might have to water down the stuffing depending on how thick you can handle it. Surprisingly, still really good even when watered down. If you want to eat something sinful and so good - try this = vanilla yogurt (3 scoops), cream cheese frosting (1 tablespoon), peanut butter (1 tablespoon), mix all three and enjoy. This is seriously like crack, so good you'll keep wanting more! :-) I've found that eating with a fork is easier because its flat and I can just use my tougnue to scoop up the food. The spoon is harder for me because of its curve. I even eat yogurt with a fork, its weird, but it works! Peace out - Tania Discover Yahoo!
