Guest guest
I've tried looking in the message search for an answer, it did me no good... Anyway, I'm supposed to have surgery in a month or two for an open bite. What I'm wondering is if anyone has heard of surgery for changing a bite by 3 mm. 3 millimeters seems so negligible as to not warrant any surgery. My upper jaw is supposed to be moved 3 mm forward and slightly upward (up so I don't end up with a gummy smile). My os has just mentioned some pretty major things regarding my surgery (besides the number of millimeters) as sidenotes. Which, are causing me to question my decision. I feel a bit deceived to be honest... I'd like to know what the least number of millimeters of movement via surgery any of you have heard of is. Thanks, Lara
