Guest guest
So I can't resist... Are you in time-out for one minute per year of age? Because that's the rule to use with preschoolers, anyway. You should be out of time-out by now. ;-) Z Bellevue, WA http://www.ziobro.us/index.html RE: Re: off the subject, but I am one angry mother/Politics Ok, Fay. I promise to do something bad later, just let me have my time out now!!! Calgon take me away!! Why don't Mommy's get time outs? Good thing the kids don't appreciate them quite as much as I would or they wouldn't be very effective. ---------------------------------------- Terry Mayers 5DollarHosting.com http://www.5dollarhosting.com .... because it shouldn't cost a fortune to make a fortune! > RE: Re: off the subject, but I am one angry > mother/Politics > > Ok, Fay. Guest guest
Reminds me of a funny. I was babysitting a girlfriends little girl one night. She was mad because she hadn't seen her daddy in a while (really long story) so I was the one she decided to get mad at. She kicked me, hit me, tried to bite me, threw herself on the floor, etc. After about 15 or 20 minutes of this I finally said " Fine, you can do what ever you want. I'm going into time out. " I promptly left the room and went into the bathroom. It took her about 2 minutes to finally quiet down. After about 5 minutes total she came knocking at the door asking if I was still in time out. I asked if she was going to behave the rest of the night because if she wasn't, I'd be in time out all night. She promised to behave and was one of the sweetest little angels I had ever babysat with. I thought it was funny because I knew she wouldn't go into time out. I also knew that if I didn't go into time out I was going to be VERY mad and I am not a nice person when I get VERY mad.
