Guest guest
Caroline I think the supplement is OK in terms of SCD-legal components. None of the ingredients jump out at me as being a major concern for the digestion. There is a slight concern about the flavoring (vanilla), but the amount is tiny and shouldn’t pose too much of a risk. Of course that is no guarantee that your own body will tolerate it, or that it will help your issue. Several of the ingredients are used by pharmaceutical companies to bond things together. Looks like this supplement works to improve cell growth. I have the suspicion that time on SCD will also achieve the same results, as the gut ecology improves. So if you discover your body doesn’t tolerate the supplement, you may still achieve the results you need over time. Do you have Interstitial Cystitis? If so, then you may find this supplement could aggravate your IC over time due to the B7 vitamin (biotin). Given your liver issues, I’d pay attention to your body’s signals when you try this supplement. If it seems to be tolerated, then continue to pay attention over the weeks that you are taking it. Some of these ingredients were marked as LEGAL on the illegal/legal list online, but I couldn't find anything about the others. What do you think? Thanks!
