AHHH, this percocet/oxycontin has me higher than a kite.

I cannot sleep its driving me nuts, and I am all shaky.

HELP!

I just took 2 2 hours ago..thinking it would help me sleep..

lol as soon as they kicked in I woke up..really woke up.

Do you really need that strong a painkiller? Maybe you can wean off to

Tylenol 3 with codeine?

I only had demerol for the first day/night. Then (after I blew my IV

in hospital), I was weaned off to T3/codeine.

I'd give the surgeon a call and ask.

I agree with . I have been on Tylenol 3 and codeine and that has

helped relieve the pain nicely as well as aid the sleeping. I only

sleep 4 to 6 hours at a time but that's better than nothing:-)

Tylenol 3 and Codeine would get this camper readmitted to hospital -

I have vivid visual hallucinations off that stuff!

I am in tomorrow I figure I'll keep doing what he gave me then ask

for toridol tomorrow I don't get 'high' off it...

Mind you I crashed within an hour of that post - lol.

hear that. Please be careful. It's extremely addicting.

LOL no kidding I thought they were staying away from that one.

I asked for toridol...I could sleep on that one, I am back to my

gravol and pain meds tomorrow I will go to tylenol regular I think..

None of my medication helped me sleep; they just made me hallucinate.

I started sleeping about 3-4 hours a night a few days later when I

switched to Advil (ibuprofen) and a Lorazepam at night.
