Guest guest
Becky, you are too funny! Sarong and bikini, ha ha! I would go for the comfy sweat pants. That was my option with a tank top that fit easily around my head and a zip up sweater because lets face it, even though it's hot outside after anesthesia you may not be feeling so hot. Also, I had a pair of shoes that were open in the back so easy to slip on. Don't want to be worrying about shoe laces. My fiancee is from Italy! He's a wine producer. I know very romantic. We've known eachother for 7 years and I love him to bits. He's coming to NYC on Saturday to stay with me for a few days. Hopefully he'll think I am as cute as you do! He's seen me in worse states so I think he'll be alright:-) Happy tub scrubbing. Oh the joy of mothers' visits. Guest guest
sara, an italian wine producer? he really does sound romantic! i guess you'll end up living in some beautiful villa in italy pretty soon ) you've known each other seven years? wow...you know i now want to know how you met - my vision is that you were some naive tourist in italy and he stopped to help you out and then swept you off your feet (kinda like that pasta barilla commercial ) here's hoping i look as good as you in a couple of days ) -becky > > sara...you look so cute! i just hope i look that good 24hrs after > > post op. i hate, hate, hate the iv. i've been trying to do pre-op > > meditation to calm me down - but as soon as that nurse comes with > the > > iv i know it's all over. for the last three or four surgeries - > i've > > actually had to be restrained for them to put it in! i know exactly > > what you mean when you say it hurt - i've been through that too and > > been told " there's no reason for that to be happening. Guest guest
Lol Becky you're so funny! As it happens I was not a naive tourist in Florence but a naive student studying at the university. My mother is Italian and I actually did all my high-school in Italy so feel confident with the whims and wiles of Italian men:-) The fiance (I love that label you use!) was introduced to me by one of my oldest friends who also turned out to be one of his best friends. I knew from day one that he was the one but I knew the timing wasn't right because I had to go back to London to finish my first university degree and neither of us felt ready to settle down just yet. Three years later we me up again in Italy and ever since have been inseparable, well as inseparable as you can get during a 18 month long distance relationship. Honestly, he's going to be the best hubby ever! I can't wait to see your post-op pics. I'm so excited for you!
