Guest guest Posted June 24, 2010 Report Share Posted June 24, 2010 Hi There, My husband has a business trip to San Francisco/Monterey CA on July 8-11th. He's taking me with him. I'm excited but a little nervous. I try to follow a Full SCD/GAPS diet but lately have had alot of trouble eating out. Even if I order something very specific, there's no guarantee that it's not been contaminated in some way. I do have celiac and it's been hard even being simply gluten free. Even today, I went to a restaurant to celebrate a dear friend's birthday and had a spinach salad with oil/vinegar dressing and broiled dolphin and it made me sick. I've been a bit sensitive lately (thank God for activated charcoal!). We will be staying in a hotel and will probably be out sight seeing most of the time. What do I do? I don't know if I'll be checking in a bag or not. I would love to have yogurt and kefir available. How do I get through this trip with food, especially since I've been so sensitive?
