Guest guest
Someone recommended the Ener-G Seattle Brown Bread. It is very good and looks like wheat bread. I ordered it from www.ener-g.com. Kim > We have just finished our first week being GFCF as best as I can tell. Guest guest
I have read somewhere that once you have the surgery that " the pill " won't work. That it is best to use the patch or injection, etc. I am taking bc pills and wonder if this is something that I will have to change once I have surgery. I was also wondering what kind of meds I will be on once I have surgery. I know that I will have to use Flinstones vit. and have a B- 12 shot each month. But what about pain meds after surgery. It would have to be liquid, right? I am a pharmacy tech and I know that there are several pain meds that come in liquid form. I guess what my question is, is will I have to use liquids forever now for like a headache? I know that tylenol has an adult strenght liquid. Guest guest
Sherry, There is not enough research and proof that " the pill " absorbs in your system the right way after surgery. I am now on the patch and it is fine. I change it once a week and then just like " the pill " , I take it off for a week. As far as meds, I can take extra strenth tylenol now and small pills like that. I still have to mix my Actigall (for my gallbladder) in something because it is too big to swallow. Otherwise, I take 3 Flinstones, 3 Tums and a liquid B-12 every day. The actigall I'm almost done with, I only had to take it for 6 months post-op. They gave me Tylenol with Codeine (sp?) liquid when I came home from the hospital, but I didn't need to take anything for pain... in Delaware Lap RNY 3/10/04 261/172/

I drink so much milk and eat so much cheese and yogurt I don't really think I need any extra calcium at all, but who am I to say, right? thanks! in Delaware Lap RNY 3/10/04 261/172/

Guest guest
There is a toothpaste recipe floating around here somewhere..... hopefully someone can re-post it. Toothpaste is not a concern UNLESS your child is likely to swallow it.... then, there simply is not one you can buy that would be legal. We just use water only.... and a toothbrush. That's what our dentist recommended.... saying that it's the brushing that's important, not the toothpaste. My daughter is ten yrs old, and has never had a cavity. Patti A few questions Can anyone tell me which brand of cod liver oil is good for children. I was using DHA junior but read that it was not legal. I would like one that anyone finds their child will take. I was also giving her sunflower oil and Evening Primrose Oil. Are these legal? Can anyone tell me what toothpaste to use? Any advice would be appreciated.
Guest guest
You can try to make carrot juice by blending just a little water and carrots in the blender until mushy then strain through a nut milk bag or paint strainer bag (from Lowe's) by squeezing the bag to get the juice out. A few questions I have to make toothpaste-where do find glycerin? my son has a yeast problem STILL-can I make the carrot juice without a juicer while I look for GSE? He won't drink hardly any juice or water, though he continues to urinate. Any thoughts or helps there? thsi has been going on fr several days and I'm worried about dehydration. Thanks!
