lower back pain

I will probably never be free from back pain because of the arthritis but I

discovered something about my long standing pain that I never considered. My

plastic surgeon took several pre and post op pictures of me and then mounted

them side by side for comparison and gave me a copy so I could see the

changes....The first thing I noticed was my POSTURE...in my pre op pics I am

very

swaybacked. It makes sense once you think about it. I am standing taller now and

still catch myself arching my backside out..I guess it will just take time to

get used to standing the right way.

It is very true that you have to learn how to stand up straight after WLS.

It's quite an adjustment. I remember that the whole way I carried myself had

to be realized, not just my back but my entire body.
