SCD - Chewing Nuts

I think that if I chew whole nuts thoroughly - I seem to digest them more easily

than if I put them in the food processor and add them to my food. I imagine that

chewing gets my stomach acids going to digest the nuts.

Only 2 weeks into SCD, I know ideally I shouldn't be even trying nut flour.

Has anyone else found the thorough chewing approach worked for them in the early

stages?

Thanks

I would think that you'd get the same stomach acid effect by chewing whatever food the nuts are in thoroughly like you do the nuts themselves. I guess whatever works, though =) Cheers!Alyssa 16 yo UC April 2008, dx Sept 2008SCD June 2009 (restarted)Azathioprine 75 mg 1x per dayPrednisone 15 mg 1x per day (trying to wean!!!!)
