wow, Sara .. the operation really changed the way you look. you look

awesome!!! those poofie cheeks will go down in no time girl! it's been a

week now huh!? it amazing how quickly time does pass, even when we're

counting each day.

i'm just over 4 weeks post now and in two weeks exactly, i'll be sitting in

front of an x-ray machine at the surgeon's and hopefully my bones will have

healed enough to clip off these wires, which are beginning to really annoy

me! hahahaha. .. i'm taking all the vitamins i can and calcium supplements

just to maximize the mineral deposition on the healing site. hope it works.

.. ..

keep up the positive attitude!

All,
& gt;
& gt;Yes, we post-opers are eager beavers to show our new

look! I've posted
& gt;another 3 pics under SARA and this time there is

one of my mouth with
& gt;the dreaded splint, hooks and bands. Please

excuse my yellow teeth and
& gt;very chapped lips. Can't be helped I'm

afraid. There's also a front
& gt;and side view of me where you can see

some of my yellow tinge from the
& gt;lymphatic fluid draining down. All

in all I'm not complaining minus
& gt;the little cold sore I developed 2

days ago but it's almost on its way
& gt;out

already.
& gt;
& gt;Sara
& gt;
& gt;
& gt;
Thanks Derrick for really bringing a smile to my face:-)

I have to say, I'm still getting accustomed to the new me. It's just

that having a chin, a real chin that does not pucker up into holes

is SOOOOO WEIRRDDD!!! Now when ever I read magazines I keep on

checking out everyones chins and I never used to do that. Obsession

much:-) I can just imagine what it will be like for me when I can

finally bite into a sandwhich properly. I'll be eating burgers non-

stop for a year!

Ooohh I'll keep my fingers crossed that you can take those nasty

wires off soon. I admire your patience and positive attitide. And

calcium away! That's the best way to heal!
