What an EXCELLENT point you have! I've been thinking lately that I, too,

have CRS. I find myself having to write things down or I just don't remember

and

was wondering what the heck is going on w/me. But now that you said that,

YES, I am sooooo much busier now than I used to be! So, being busier is my new

story and I'm sticking to it!

Wondering if anyone has noticed since surgery that their memory is as good

as it use to ?

/////

Tara,

Yes! I have the worst memory now. It's actually getting a bit concerning.

I don't know if my surgery necessarily caused it, but it's been since it

that I've noticed it.

Thanks! I guess it is at least obliquely related to Cranial-Rectal

Syndrome (head up a$$), after all! (^_^)

I like to think it's because I have so many things going on. One day I

talked to 3 girls in 3 states, all with the same name, all 5 months out from

WLS, all with the same problem. Please tell me it is normal to mix them up?

But now I've twice-paid bills and done other stupid stuff.

There's also " Optical Rectitis " which is fairly common. It's when you're

down in the dumps and see the entire world through your a**hole.

I don't want to minimize memory loss, but my doc calls it slower retrieval of

information. Those of us who were fortunate to have had quick retrieval

processes when we were younger, now have to do what most people have done all of

their lives. For instance, I never had to make a shopping list and Now I do.

Of course, I have to remember to take it with me an actually look at it.

Having a good bill paying system (I am a bookkeeper) would not allow double

payment.

Anyway, I hope you all get my gist.

One more thing, I do not allow anyone to start a sentence with (Do you

remember.) ;0)

A shopping list is a MUST for me if I plan to come home with anything that I

actually need. Unfortunately, my latest memory thing is that I put it down

for a second (like when I'm checking through the produce or something) and

forget to pick it up or forget where I put it. Most times when I go back to

get it it's already gone.

Been there...done that. Have had to, on more than one occasion, return

clothes to Costco because I had already bought it and didnt remember it.
