Upper Surgery Scheduled, have a few ?s

Im scheduled for upper only surgery to correct an open bite. I am

having it done outpatient in my surgeon's surgical suite since my

insurance denied me. For anyone who has had this sugery, will I be

able to walk that night/next day to get up to take medicine etc.? I

dont think I want to lay in bed all day. Also how far can you open

your mouth after surgery?
