I am Patty i just found this site yesterday myself. I wish i had

some advice for Wed , But my procedure is Aug 18th, I am very

excited , I have been looking at the pictures here and they are

amazing how much this will change our lives. Good luck you will be

in my prayers. I am in Ct. I also have 3 kids all boys and boy do

they eat and eat and eat lol. I have several people in this area

that had the same dr i am having and i am so excited. I hope all

goes well and please let us know how you are doing. I also went to

the chat room and only saw 2 people in there the same as i was and

hope more chat soon. Well have a great day and safe time Wed.

Hi everyone,

I'm kinda new to this group I been here a few weeks now I been

reading all the post and I'm learning alot from you all I'm so

gald I found this group. I'm in the process of getting the surgery

I have my third appointment with the dietician on august 27th

and my phsyc eval in early september. I'm kinda worried about the

phsyc eval cause i'm bi polor ect... I'm just scared that the

phscologist will make it so I can't get the surgery...Does anyone

else in this group have depression of any kind? I'm very excited

to get the surgery but I guess I'm kinda scared of the risk.

altho the dr says i'm at very low risk surgery is still

scarey. A little about me I'm 25 I live in Lancaster PA and I'm

getting my surgery at Hershey Medical center. Well I'm gonna

go for now but I hope to hear from yous

I had the surgery on July 22nd at Hackensack University Medical Center. I have

a history of depression and am taking Effexor - It did not interefere with my

surgery. I wish you luck. Ella

Welcome Debbie and best of luck with the upcoming appts. I can't help

you with the psych eval questions, but I believe there are a few folks

on the board who will be able to.
