Guest guest
picturing sara's sexy italian wine producing fiancee gaining weight eating good ol' american food and then splitting his pants gave me a giggle...hehehe...i wish we had a picture of that ) i've been venturing outside for the last two days - little quick walks with my joey - trying to build up to walk to the movies on thrs! big plans...anyway - i was outside for maybe two minuts yesterday and i sneezed. damn nyc air! i was so freaked out when i felt it coming - since everyone has warned me against the closed mouth sneeze ruining the bone graft. but it came - and i kept my mouth open - and it wasn't so bad! wahoo! anyway - my major complaint today is the coughing. the phlem just keeps coming down my palate and i just don't know what to do. everytime i cough - the stupid bone graft site hurts. i'm so scared this bone graft won't take or i'll blow a hole into the fistula. someone just make the coughing stop!!! the ortho called today (funny - huh? like i can talk on the phone) and asked joey if i fit in my splint. i do - but my cheek keeps getting stuck. i don't think that's what she was talking about though. here's to hoping for a cough free, sneeze free day ahead. and more funny stories about sara's fiancee -becky
Guest guest
becky, This may sound really " stupid " or naive of me but ... are you permitted to take any kind of cough medicine? I took over the counter allergy stuff, Dimetapp that's it, and it helped stop me from sneezing/coughing/etc. Maybe? Enjoy your walks. Whatcha goin' to see at the movies? Guest guest
nah - not naive...and actually i hadn't really thought of it until you (and sara ) brought it up. i should probably call the surgeon and ask - me being my typical i-can-handle-anything was just trying to tough it out. i'll do that right now. thanks a bunch ) i needed a little common sense kick in the behind... -becky > > picturing sara's sexy italian wine producing fiancee gaining weight > > eating good ol' american food and then splitting his pants gave me a > > giggle...hehehe...i wish we had a picture of that ) > > > > i've been venturing outside for the last two days - little quick > walks > > with my joey - trying to build up to walk to the movies on thrs! > big > > plans...anyway - i was outside for maybe two minuts yesterday and i > > sneezed. damn nyc air! i was so freaked out when i felt it > coming - > > since everyone has warned me against the closed mouth sneeze ruining > > the bone graft. but it came - and i kept my mouth open - and it > > wasn't so bad! wahoo! > > > > anyway - my major complaint today is the coughing. the phlem just > > keeps coming down my palate and i just don't know what to do. > > everytime i cough - the stupid bone graft site hurts. i'm so scared > > this bone graft won't take or i'll blow a hole into the fistula. > > someone just make the coughing stop!!! > > > > the ortho called today (funny - huh? like i can talk on the phone) > > and asked joey if i fit in my splint. i do - but my cheek keeps > > getting stuck. i don't think that's what she was talking about > though. > > > > here's to hoping for a cough free, sneeze free day ahead. and more > > funny stories about sara's fiancee > > > > -becky
