Guest guest Posted July 4, 2010 Report Share Posted July 4, 2010 Hi all, I am new to SCD and while I am certain that this question has been asked before, I still feel its necessary to ask again. I am a very active 27 year old triathlete who uses a very clean protein powder nearly everyday for recovery phases after a workout. I am curious if there is any sort of protein powder, whether its whey based, soy based or some sort of gluten free version of either that is allowed on the SCD diet. If the answer is no, would anyone who possibly found themselves in my situation, be able to offer up some advice as to how they handled the challenge of eliminating protein powder from their diet while still maintaining the proper daily protein intake required to sustain muscle growth.
