Guest guest
I commend you on reaching out to us about your struggle with your 9 year old. It seems to me that girls that age go through growth spurts, don't they? I mean you may notice a little bulge but it may just be gone with the next spurt. The best thing you can do is keep up the walks with her and keep the channel of communication open. I am pleased that she " hasn't noticed " the shapes of others in her class. She probably has a healthy body image right now. If I were you I would work on keeping it that way. Girls these days are under so much pressure from society and their peers that I hear about 6 year olds going on diets. That scares the crap out of me. Good luck to you. I am sure there are reference books out there that may help you too. Maybe check with the library? Take care! Rinn
