Guest guest
I've been thinking of you too...but at least I knew you were OK! I had a really bad day on Sunday - I was in the worst mood. On Sat I went to get a mani/pedi with a friend...I know I just had one but I'm not spending any money on food so I figured it would be good for me ) I added on a 15 min foot message...ahhhh... That night I tried to go the movies with a group of friends...but after walking there it was sold out. Grrrr.... By the time I got home, I was a little tired but not bad. I woke up on Sunday and I was raging. I was yelling at Joey because there was no more " good soup " and trying to call everyone I knew to get a 'scrip of Diflucan. That's right - the Keflex got me. I took it religiously for seven days after leaving the hospital (it actually tasted pretty good)...I was so afraid of infection ruining the bone graft. And I ate my yogurt and took my acidiphidophilis. So my face was sore, my hip was sore, my stomach was terrible post antibiotics, and then I got a stupid yeast infection. Will it ever end?!? (PRE-OPers take note...ask for a Diflucan scrip now!!! If you don't fill it - you don't fill it. But it will sneak up on you while you're worrying about everything else and it just makes everything else so much more miserable!!!) I actually called my ortho at home, on father's day, to ask if she could fill the script. She said she was only a DDS and couldn't but she would call her sister. I hung up the phone and lost it. I was stamping my feet and all out bawling (not good for the bone graft) and just asking how much more can I go through? Why can't it be over? Why wasn't I born like a normal kid?!?!?!?!? Joey eventually convinced me to take a nap. So I slept for hours and woke up feeling so much better. It reminded me of when I was a little kid and my mom tried to get me to go down for a nap. " BUT I'M NOT TIRED...snore " The point of this story is that you can feel like you have all the energy in the world...but I guess you don't. Take it easy. Don't get a mani/pedi/massage and try to see a movie in the same day And for the love of god...get a Diflucan script before hand! -becky
