Guest guest
Emeril's Essense is really good. I used it pre SCD. If you have legal garlic and onion powder, it's good. Ingredients 2 1/2 tablespoons paprika 2 tablespoons salt 2 tablespoons garlic powder 1 tablespoon black pepper 1 tablespoon onion powder 1 tablespoon cayenne pepper 1 tablespoon dried oregano 1 tablespoon dried thyme Directions Combine all ingredients thoroughly. http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/emeril-lagasse/emerils-essence-recipe/index.h\ tml One day I'll get around to trying to recreate Tony's or Slap Yo Mama spice mixes. Guest guest
Did you see the recipe for blackened chicken livers a few days ago--how did that look to you? Thank for the recipe K, we don't have legal chili powder here though and I haven't made it to Penzey's to try to get different chiles. Debbie41cd Thanks for the responses everyone!
