LOL! Indeed! <snicker> Here's an Image for you -- someone asked if

we ever had SCD get-togethers. Imagine a buinch of SCDers taking over a

Rocky Mountaineer and the chefs having to cope with all meals needing to

be SCD!

Many of us have met, and regularly get together, with other list members who live within an hour or two's drive -- and also with additional people who announce that they'll be in a particular country, or part of the U.S. (or Canada) while traveling/vacationing. A wonderful group of people and we've had many good times with these "subgroups" of the group. These gatherings usually arise in impromptu fashion, though there's a group that meets annually here (western NY/southern Ontario) when several larger group members come down near the end of every summer for a theatre week in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario.Maybe we should seriously consider something like this. It's a lot of fun. But I think we'd have to promise to talk about things other than the diet (at least some of the time!) n______________________________A funny, touching gift book for cat lovers. LOL! Yes, or we'd drive the chefs crazy, second-guessing them!

Up until 2000, I held an Anne McCaffrey New Year's party every year --

people literally came from all over the world for it. Grand fun.

Yep! Every test down is one more step in the direction of being declared

cancer free -- and I really look forward to that!

This week has been kind of stressful -- we woke up Tuesday to the

headline " Avondale to Close! "

Since Avondale is where my husband works, and since he hadn't heard

anything about this from his company, this was a matter of

concern.

We determined later that (through a company meeting) that the engineering

department stays here, but the actual building of the ships will be

moving to Pascagoula, MS.

Oh, dear! There's so much

of this these days, where you even learn about it the wrong way. I'm so

have to commute or will you have to move? I sincerely hope the engineers

can stay put!

We honestly don't know.

2 weeks after being diagnosed with uc I was denied by two different insurances. Disgusting. My husband was denied bc he had neck issues 5 years prior and didn't complain beyond his diagnosisMarilyn-my husband says the same thing to me. Many times. I didn't know this for a long time but i'm sure i chose him because he is the calmness to my storm.UC-C 12/09SCD 1/10Daily, CLO, Magnesium, bromelain, acidophilus Mom of 2 crazy monkeys :-)
