Bethany,

First of all, I don't feel that you have to explain yourself. You have every

right to feel whatever you feel. No one can tell you to feel differently.

To everyone else, I think this has all gotten way out of hand and this isn't why

I joined this group to hear everyone complaining about each other. So let it go

already and lets move on. If Ray comes back then great, if he doesn't, then

that is his choice.

So, can we please get back to some normal conversation. Thanks : )

Dora,

I know exactly how your feeling, I remember going through the same things

just before my surgery. So many dinner dates with friends I couldn't keep up.

I

remember my surgery was a couple weeks before my birthday and my fiance's and

my first anniversary, so we celebrated Mother's Day, my birthday and our

anniversary all in the same evening...lol. My surgery actually ended up being

on

my anniversary, what a way to celebrate....lol. Well you take care and have a

wonderful day and enjoy.

Thank you for any prayers you can send my way. I am a firm believer in their

power. And yes I am getting excited. I am getting a little overwhelmed too

because I have so much to get done before then and of course all my friends and

family want to go out with me that one last time before my ability to eat is

altered. I am sure it will fly by. Thank you again.

My surgery is what they call Hand-assisted Laproscopic. I will have 4 ports for

the lap equipment and then a 3-4 " incision which is just large enough for him to

get his hand in there to work also. He said that he gets better control that

way and does all of his surgeries that way. I will keep you guys posted. That

means that I have to get busy and get the room in my house cleared out that I

want to hook my computer up in. Wish me luck on that.

Patty,

I am having the laparoscopic. I'll keep you posted on my post surgery

happenings. I told them I didn't want to be scheduled on 10/6 (my birthday),

although, it definitely would be a sort of rebirth for me.

Hey Dora,

My Mom used to tell us all about the time's they had to carry water

for all kinds of things on the farm. Used to help my G-ma out too

when we'd visit. I had a few buckets at our back door when Don came

home and just chuckled...what are you planning to do with these???

And I chuckled back wicked like..they are for you to go and haul

water with!! Guess this surgery at this time is making me alittle

bolder...LOL!!! He proceeded to fill all the buckets and leave them

at the door...guess he wants a headstart...heehee!!!

About being cold..I have always been like that skinny and

overweight. But funny thing, I have to have a foot out of the

covers to breathe...LOL!!! If not I feel smothered.

Hugs,

I forgo the water when I sleep but do keep a glass by my bedside to

sip on since I get " dry mouth " during the night. The

timer...heehee...gave me a heartattack the first time it went off!

No kidding...get a nice sounding one that one that rattles your

brain when it goes off.

Hugs,
