Guest guest
Hi everyone - So I am pretty much counting the hours until I get this splint out. It's attached to my upper arch and is driving me crazy. I can't talk right, obviously can't eat, look ridiculous when I smile, and my upper teeth kind of hurt and feel like they really really need to be brushed good and hard. Also, the splint is pinching the side of my cheeks and it hurts! Not to mention, it is giving me progressively worse bad breathe. Aaaahhhh! I am for sure going to save it and post what it looks like since it feels so huge. I am really nervous about what lies under it. Will I be healed yet? Will there be like dead skin hanging down? Will it hurt? Most of all, I am really hoping that I can go somewhere (alone and in a corner) and try and eat some pasta or bread!!! My surgeon is taking it out a few days early because I have a wedding on Saturday. I am going to post some more pictures....my swelling is very very slowly going down, but from the front you can see where the surgeon removed some fat from my outer cheek and my lip on my neck did great, I highly recommend it. --
