Hi,

I'm now just over 2 years post op. I had my lower jaw moved forward and

genio. I posted on here before, during and after my surgery.

In the past few months i have been getting pain in my jaw/back teeth on

the right side and this has now spread to my tounge on the right side.

If i open my mouth wide (which isnt very wide, shift my jaw to the

side, or move my tounge around there is pain mainly at the back side of

my tounge kind of where the tounge meets the bottom of your mouth.

Can anyone help? What would be the cause of this?

Should i see my surgeon, dentist, ortho??!?!? I havent seen my surgeon

since a couple months after my surgery, or my ortho since i got my

braces off 5 months after surgery.

Any help or experiences would be great!

If I were in your shoes -- um, mouth -- I would call my surgeon

first, my ortho second, and lay these troubles on them heavy! I have

no clue what's going on, but I hope they can help you resolve it.
