If you google vitamin e enema, you will get a ton of hits.

They are mostly exact copies of the same set of directions.

Do

Here is a link:

http://curezone.com/forums/fm.asp?i=67345

The directions call for one enema per day, no specifics on any

differences for kids.

It is distilled water and vitamin E in a syringe, but it is very

hard to work with the vitamin E. I found it very sticky and I also

thought most of the vitamin E stayed behind in the syringe rather than get

inserted. It did not mix well with the water at all.

It sounds like this child is very sick right now, and if they

can’t control rectal bleeding in a hospital, I don’t know how

much good the vitamin E enema would be.

Have the doctor’s talked at all about giving Humira a

try? Some patients don’t do well on Remicade, but then do better on

Humira. The Remicade and Humira are similar drugs, but apparently there

are enough differences that some patients do well on one but not the

other.

I tried the E- enema for my son who is in a mild flare for more than a month,

and it is working. Besides that I tried to give him cabbage juice 4 oz 4 times a

day. These two work together really help him a lot. I hope this information is

helping. Here is the link for the cabbage juice:

warm water to help unstick the sticky vitamin E.

> how much for a kid? how often??/?

am not sure. it's up to 8000 IUs for an adult. kids weren't tested.

maybe start at 500IUs and move up from there slowly to 2000IUs?

You can do it more than once a day - maybe start with 500, move

to 500 twice a day if it seems to help, etc.

LDN also.

Have they done prednisone just to get past the hump or not?

THANKS - passed on all info -i pray something works soon- doc said " there's no

scientific evidence that vit e will do anything " and made some comment about the

scd soup - also she didn't respond good or bad to prednisone - he's asking about

humira and ldn and seeking integrative doc

THANKS AGAIN

just water and E in syringe right? how much for a kid? how often??/?I would start with maybe 1000 mg twice a day, since it's a little kid, and then work up to 4000? 8000? I'm not sure you can use TOO much, and if they're going to take her colon (!!) it seems like they don't have much to loose by trying it. They have my sympathy and prayers!
