Guest guest
I apologize if this is a duplicate. I don't think it went the first time. Hi, This is really to the moderators about newbies and the often repeated questions ...... I wonder if it might be helpful if we note in the memo field how long we have been on the SCD, in addition to noting our question/comment. That would give a clue as to if this might be a very basic question that some might want to skip. Of course, that doesn't help our moderators. I do want them to know that their time and help is greatly valued. While it may seem that I have dashed off a question without trying to figure it out, I have checked BTVC, websites, etc. before asking. Embarrassing as it is, sometimes I feel at the " toddler " stage developmentally on this diet -- I may have the pieces to the puzzle in my hands, but I can't put it all together yet. That said, I also would like to make it clear that I totally understand that the moderators have only 24 hours in a day and other responsibilities in their lives also. They must make difficult choices sometimes about what they can spend time answering. There may be more important questions and things to attend to at that moment. I am totally OK with being told something like " check BTVC " as the answer, or even not getting an answer. That will let me know to find it myself! The advice and help I have gotten has made all the difference to me. I don't think that I would still be with the diet without it, so I do not want to add unnecessarily to our moderators stress and workload. I think that they are extremely caring people and am very thankful for them. Guest guest
Hiya Jackie, It's advised that we all have STAT sign-off's at the bottom of our posts.. I admit I get lazy about it because I find it needs tweaking every now and again.. LOL. For Newbies this would be a great help! Also, if you find that a post is not answered just type in BUMP at the begining of the subject line- that way we can know to answer. I must admit I don't sift through posts the way I used to but there are plenty of wonderful people like Mara and Misty and many others as well as moderators like Marilyn and Kim M to answer. Keep up the good work! Jodi > > I apologize if this is a duplicate.
