I can eat anything I want to now except for drinking milk, I can even eat sweets again!!! I do not want to go back to 456 and I really need some strong advise here! How can I get going again and keep from being so hungry all the time? Any one, HELP! __________________________________________________
Guest guest
Hey Vicki, You have done two GOOD things. First, you've lost over 200 pounds in just over a year. That is fantastic! The second good thing you've done is realize that you might be losing control and getting off track. What we've all been told a million times is get back to basics when that happens. You need to relearn how to use your " tool " that the surgery has given us. PLEASE reread the file in this groups home page on " Pouch Rules " or go back through the messages and you'll see that I posted a link to pouch rules earlier today. What happens is that the pouch/stomach is a muscle that can be stretched out if you overdo it and eat too much. Even the little pouches that we were given can expand and make us feel hungry more often. By following the pouch rules and focusing on protein you can get back on track and not be hungry all the time. Please go read the pouch rules now and have patience with yourself. It might not be easy to get back on track but its worth the effort. Keep us posted and hang in there! Bridget vicki sorrell wrote: Ok Family, I am getting real frusterated here! Decrease the carbs, don't eat the sugar. A three week plateau is nothing to get worried over. Your body just has to catch up. Please be patient , and load up on protein and water, and whatever exercise you can get in. The pounds will come off again. Janet
