Hi Suzy! I know this listing is pretty old...It's been awhile since I've read

in here, but was hoping you'd still get this. I'm having surgery with the " duo "

July 27th. What date are you having yours done? I'll be there for most of

August....flying out for Colorado.

Hi Nina,

I'm having treatment done with the same duo this August, and am

flying over from the UK to get it done. I too had to wait 6 months

for a consult, but was glad as I know they will do such a good

thorough job of it all and was very impressed with the consultation.

I'm sooooo pleased to hear that you had such a good experience and

such faith in Dr. Arnett. I'm going to be working 24/7 for a number

of years to pay for all of this... so am sooo hoping that it's all

going to be worth it!

And seeing your email, I think it will be!! fingers crossed!

Hi Nichol,

You're surgery is only just around the corner then!

Good luck with it!

I've got mine scheduled for 31st August. I'm currently trying to find

somewhere to stay for a couple of weeks there after the surgery. I

did contact the pepper tree estate but have yet to hear back from

them. As I'm flying out on my own, I'll have to stay somewhere where

I can get looked after!

Any suggestions?

I'm also flying out for a couple of days on 8th August, as I have to

come and give some blood before the surgery.

It's going to be a busy couple of months. :)

How are you feeling?

I would think and hope that your surgeon (or someone in his office)

could offer you good advice about how to get aftercare somewhere

near them!

Hi Suzy,

Believe it or not, I haven't scheduled a place yet. I'm lucky in that my Mom is

coming with me, so I won't need to stay at an after care place. As luck would

have it, the summer months are the busiest for Santa Barbara, so I am finding

the prices to be extremly high.

If you call Arnett's office, they will send you a list of places. I also talked

to realitors in the area that are renting condo's. Since my mom is with me, we

need to have at least two bedrooms, and a kitchen would be nice for all the

concoctions we will have to make to see what I can eat.

As soon as I do find a place, I will let you know. For your visit Aug. 8th, I

would use the list from the Dr.s office. It gives you numbers and pricing per

night.

Good luck in everything too! We will definitely have to keep in touch through

all this!
