Guest guest
Alyssa, I made this over he weekend and it was really good. Maybe you could substitute blueberries for the pineapple??? I just went blueberry picking so I may have to try that out too.http://www.scdrecipe.com/cookbook/sample-recipes/pineapple-upsidedown-cake/UC-C 12/09SCD 1/10Daily, CLO, Magnesium, bromelain, acidophilus Mom of 2 crazy monkeys :-) Anyone have a good cobbler recipe for peaches/blueberries/other berries? Guest guest
I make this blueberry crisp/cobbler at least 2x's a week right now. We stocked up on blueberries recently for just over a $1 per pound, and they freeze so well. I love them! A few cups blueberries 1/4 cup butter, melted 2 large tablespoons honey (more to taste) 1 cup almond meal dash of sea salt sprinkle of baking soda cinnamon - optional Mix all ingredients together (except berries). Place berries in a casserole dish and top with almond mixture. Bake at 350* for 45 minutes. *You can double the almond mixture easily for a larger dish. I have also done this with cherries and added some vanilla = yummy! I will soon try with peaches, when my peaches are ready at the end of the month! I really enjoy this topped with honey sweetened dripped scd yogurt. - SCD 9 weeks > > Anyone have a good cobbler recipe for peaches/blueberries/other > berries? Guest guest
I made this with blueberries, strawberries, and pitted cherries and it was delicious. In fact, I want to make another batch.-- http://www.elanaspantry.com/peach-crisp/I used this one (adapted for SCD of course) and thought it was very good!
