Anything can cause a flare up - everyone is unique that way.

For fruit, try apple sauce. Or pear sauce. For veggies try zucchini or

spinach.

blood now and then). So we went to intro diet couple days ago.

Bananas were one of my son's worst foods. And they were among the few that he

wanted to eat!!

You

may get some ideas for foods to introduce here http://pecanbread.com/p/how/stages.html

.. The stages are guidelines, so you can vary from them as you discover

what foods are better tolerated. But it helps to give you an idea of what

foods are easier to digest.

I

find bananas very difficult to digest, even when cooked, and even when I start

off with a very ripe one. On SCD you do want to make sure the bananas

have brown spots on the skin, so you’ll know they are ripe enough to be

better tolerated. Cooking also helps make foods easier to digest.

Still, bananas are a food I rarely eat simply because my digestion won’t

cope, even after I reached my healed-digestive state several years ago.

We

each have to test foods and figure out what works best for us at our various

stages of healing.

Also

what is another good food to introduce after intro diet.
