Guest guest
Hi Shirley, Your pictures look great. I'm amazed at how little swelling you have. Glad to hear you're doing so well. I wish you a continued good recovery. > Hi all, Just thought I'd let you know I uploaded 3 pictures. > They're not the greatest (my camera's only 2 megapixels) & I was > trying to take my own pictures. Guest guest
Hello Shirley - Wow, your pictures look awesome! I tried to upload some pictures with Sara's help a few weeks ago, but apparently Kinko's has some sort of block up, so I couldn't. I don't own my own computer yet. The pictures I'm trying to upload are the ones that my OD gave me at my post-work-up consult last month; they show my underbite really well but they make me look so ugly it's embarrassing. I'll get them uploaded sometime soon, I promise!/// And Shirley, you look " maavelous " !!!!! ~~~~ Diane > Hi all, Just thought I'd let you know I uploaded 3 pictures. > They're not the greatest (my camera's only 2 megapixels) & I was > trying to take my own pictures. Guest guest
Hi Shirley, It's me caboose! Your pics really look great at 12 days post op. It looks like you have no swelling at all. I still have a bit of swelling and look like a chipmunk. It looks like you are doing great! Keep up the good work! --Caboose > > Hi all, Just thought I'd let you know I uploaded 3 pictures. > > They're not the greatest (my camera's only 2 megapixels) & I was > > trying to take my own pictures. Guest guest
Hi , Thanks for the compliments on my pics. You may have more swelling as my LeFort 1 was a one piece. I am fortunate that even with all they did to me my swelling was minimal. Being able to talk right away [i think to the disappoint of my husband ]has helped with my jaw mobility. Though, there's a point where it's hard to open wide. I guess next week the OS will give me some exercises to do. Also, I was fortunate to be able to drink from a cup from the day after the surgery when they finally pulled the NG & airway tube. No wires, just rubber bands. I'm having trouble getting my strength back. Sort of up & down. I feel better today, but yesterday crashed for about 3 hours in morning. I am still pretty numb and have pressure feeling on upper cheeks & lips, (lower, too) wish that would hurry up and go away. Sounds like you're doing pretty good, don't overdo. Hugs, Shirley > > > Hi all, Just thought I'd let you know I uploaded 3 pictures. > > > They're not the greatest (my camera's only 2 megapixels) & I was > > > trying to take my own pictures.
