Hey everyone,

I haven't put up any pics since 7 days post op, so I thought I would

post some new ones. You can tell that my right side is still alot

swollen from my profile pics. I also posted one of my lips relaxed,

so you can see the gap there, and one of my lips closed. It's still

getting better, so who knows what the end result will be. You can

tell though that the swelling on my right side causes my right side

of my lip to come up more.

Also, take a look at my nose, you can still see its crooked at the

bottom. Note how the bottom middle of my nose does not match up with

the middle of my front teeth at all, it's more like a tooth over. I

really didn't want to get that septoplasty re-done, but it looks like

thats my only option. I can feel it's still way off, even though

I've regained about 30% breathing capacity. The thing is, although

my surgeon did an awesome job with my jaw (look at the huge

difference in gumminess from pre to post op), I am not sure if he's

the right one to redo my septoplasty, since he obviously didn't do it

right the first time! My hubby says that my surgeon should either do

it himself for free or pay for it since I have to get it re-done. I,

on the other hand, would like to just go to an ENT and get it done

right and have insurance pay for it. (since I've reached my year max

out of pocket this year) However, I don't know how to approach my

surgeon on this, he's obviously going to know I went to another

doctor, and I don't want to offend him because he did do such great

work on my jaw. Any ideas?
