More 5 wks postop pics with a cheesy smile

Hi All

I've put up some more pics of me, this time from 5 weeks post-op and

showing my first attempts at smiling. One pic is me smiling showing my

teeth and you can tell that my upper lip is still quite stiff. As a

result I have created a temporary and alternative type of smile which

is a no teeth showing version. I think I look like a grinning cheshire

cat but at least people know when I'm smiling now:-D. There are also a

couple of my profile pics which show that my right cheek is still

visibly more swollen than the left side but I'm not upset about it.

I've been taking liquid arnica for the past few days and it has helped

tremendously. The profile pics also show that my upturned nose is now

slightly less upturned now that the swelling has gone down. Anyway,

don't mean to inundate you all with my pics but wanted to provide some

inspiration to all pre-oppers and post-opers still early in the

recovery process.
