I hate to be a skeptic...but, Amber... if you love your husband and are worried about loosing him... why does your Yahoo profile say: " Married But Looking " - here is a cut and paste for all to see (before you change it, that is): " Yahoo! Guest guest
Just a question.. But what does that have to do with her having the surgery?? or her husband?? I'm a little lost.. When someone comes along with their hand out stretched asking for financial help, sometimes it is nice to know that they are on the level, ya know? Make sense? Guest guest
I would suggest you try the following: 1. Try to work out payment plan with your surgeon and hospital 2. Get a different insurance company a year or two won't hurt you. I had knee surgery 10 years before I had my bypas 3. Take out a loan for the surgery 4. Take out a second mortgage - I know 2 -3 people who went this option 5. Cash in stocks and savings - My husband and I did this (6K plus) to pay the portion of the surgery the insurance company would not pay as our surgeon was not in their network. 6. Talk to family member you would be surprised at what they will do to help young people get a good start. 7. Take a loan on your husbands or your 401K plans or retirement plans at work. 8. Organize fund raisers in your town and neighborhood - it is done all the time quite successfully and the folks there know you and will donate more readily than strangers. Many people here found the funds to have their surgery with out asking for help from a group like this. I would hazard to say that many of us don't have the spare money to send to you as we have our own medical bills and families to provide for. Good Luck in your surgery, but please find a more proactive way to pay for it. anne > Hi! My name is Amber and I am 24 yrs old, stand 5'7 " tall and weigh > 280lbs. Guest guest
I am still looking for nice people who wouldn't mind helping me with donations to get me feeling better. Its my dream and I will never be truly happy with my self image unless I do this. Please give me a chance. Anything is appreciated.
