Hi Patty,

I'm glad you've been doing OK. I'm sure others will find that

reassuring. One of my fears has been not exactly claustrophobia, but

just the constant aggravation of having foreign objects in my mouth.

I'm really sensitive to things like that. But once I made up my mind

this was what I wanted, I've been able to deal with it. I won't be

sorry to get this splint off, though.

Thank you so much for those words of encouragement! I'm scheduled

for lower jaw advancement on 08/08/2005, and those are a couple of

things that concern me. Good to know it may not be that bad!
