I've been going through this process since last Oct! So, almost a year, and it's NOW!!!! They're doing it open - I've had two vertical c-sections, and they are also doing a gallbladder removal and heria fix (from the c-section). I'll be in the hospital 4 - 6 days. You can send me an ecard at the hospital! I would really like that: http://www.memorialmedical.com/Info_Desk/greetingcard.htm My full name is Kathleen Spoon So many emotions, so little time! I've got major cleaning to do at my house this weekend. Between my husband, my parents and my mother-in-law, and a neighbor family - I've got the kids all taken care of for the next couple weeks - which is wonderful. And, my angel Ramona has been a blessing. Monday I go to St. 's hospital to have a PICC Line placed. Then, at noon I start my bowel prep and anti-biotic regimen. Ew. Then Tuesday morning I go to Memorial at 7:00 am and check in!!!! Because my insurance usually doesn't cover anything at MMC, I do all the pre-testing stuff, and the PICC line there.
