Hello-

Can you try and get an appointment for a second opinion from a cranial

neurosurgeon or cranial plastic surgeon for them? A prescription from a

pediatrician or one of the above people usually suffice...

It has helped tremendously.  I never thought something so simple would one, cost

so much, and two, work so well.  I would completely recommend to anyone the DOC

band.  However insurance sees this treatment as cosmetic, however, my son was at

risk for blindness and brain trama!  How can they say its purely cosmetic?  I

will get a drs note that says it was a medical necessity for him.  Any other

advice on how I can try to get my insurance to pay?
