oh, it always takes me 3-4 days, at least, to recuperate....lol. i am still eating pumpkin pie and sweet potatoes. the following day i was only awake 11 hrs.....sleeping on and off all day. holidays are getting to be too much for me with all the extra cleaning and cooking. i am still debating christmas decorating. add in temps in the teens at night and i am happy to stay warm...covered up and reading a good book. i woke up today and my son's girlfriend was doing the dishes and they were making supper. yippee!!! lol. it's so nice to have other women in the house. i've been surrounded by guys who eat frozen pizzas and takeout for too long. hey! i sold a painting last week, too. now I Have to start another one...lol I am going to

start praying for my docs, too, cuz they say you should pray for your enemies...LOL!!! hugs to all... S.Life may not always be the party we hoped for, but while we're here we might as well dance!

I am supposed to start getting a Remicade infusion drip after I am done with the steroids. How is that? I was a little hesitant. Any feedback and suggestions?

The food always taste better when someone else does the cooking, my husband does most the cooking on the Holidays, so can't complain. Sorry been away so long, trying to stay on top of things.

Hey, , that's great that you sold a painting. Are you still painting the rocks? BTW, I'm still eating pumpkin pie & sweet potatoes too! Plus a little pecan pie, some turkey & a little cranberry sauce. Not tired of it yet.

Thank you I wasn't really complaining just trying to be funny. I was just fine being alone with myself. I still like myself.

We have a tradition I started when the kids were small. Before we could sing Christmas carols they had to sing the thanksgiving song. { we gather together to ask the lords blessings} My Children have called on Thanksgiving morning, when we couldn't be together, and sing to me over the phone. It means so much.

Thank you for the invite. You may be sorry I have always wanted to go to CO.

God Bless you for your kind heart.

Thanks, Rose.....i just paint canvas nowadays. i can't lift rocks any more....lol. But i haven't painted one canvas yet this year. On Sunday hubby cooked the turkey carcass, with what meat was left on it, and made homemade turkey soup. It wasn't as good as mine...lol...but it'll pass. I am fighting a nasal infection right now probably brought on by the dryer air. So we got the humidifiers going and it seems to be easing up. add in the saline nasal spray, the script nasal spray and the air cleaners and i'll be up to my 'normal' by the end of the day. (cross your fingers and say a prayer) i'm sure this benefits everyone in the family(the humidifiers)...even the cats.....but i guess i notice it the most. ;)

S.Life may not always be the party we hoped for, but while we're here we might as well dance!

we always have Turkey soup too, at least my husbands Mom used to fix, so I've tried over the years too, I personal don't care for it, but he does, so I do it, I don't like it full of veggies, I like more noodles, and he comes home and dumps a ton of veggies in it, which makes me dislike it more, now we have a tub frozen of it, yea:)

family tradition some you just have to keep going, right.  MarlaJust one day at a time, That's all God ask of us. for there never really is a tomorrow, as that too

OH ya we run a humidifier in our room all winter, My husband started to get sinus infections when we moved to CO, and a doctor said to put the humidifier in the room, and he hasn't had one in a very long time, I still get them all the time, half my sinus cavities are full of Sarc. but it still helps the nose.

,Congratulations on selling a painting! What kind do you paint? I find it so admirable when someone in our condition can do something so ambitious. What are you working on now?I, too, slept for a couple of days when my Thanksgiving ordeal was over. Not only did I have to make it through my husband's family's major "event" (28 people for 8 hour on Thursday), I also had to make my house ready for dinner for 10 in my own house on Friday night. To cap it off, I had to cook on Saturday, and go to my own family's Thanksgiving on Saturday evening. By Saturday night I could barely stand up or see straight. I don't even remember Sunday -- I think I was up for about 4 hours, and I slept most of Monday as well. Sorry it took me until today to make it back onto the computer. I

just have to keep reminding myself of that old standby-- "whatever doesn't kill us makes us stronger."--To: Neurosarcoidosis Sent: Sun, November 28, 2010 2:46:10 AMSubject: Re: Burp

Oh my, ! We need to review the use of the word "no" again! And do some role-playing. My gang wanted to have a big TG at my house. I said that I would make rolls (from frozen bread dough; not up to kneading anymore) & put the turkey (unstuffed) in the oven. The rest was up to them, including cleaning the house--before & after. It was a very nice day, and although I was tired I wasn't totally exhausted. Now next year we'll start working on you in the summer!

thanks, , i paint landscapes. But the last one i finished was in December of last year. This year i have been battling depression and exhaustion and have yet to begin a new one. I haven't decided what my next one will be....maybe a lighthouse along the shore. ambitious is what you do for the holidays. that is WAY beyond what i could ever hope to accomplish. It takes me a week to get over making one meal for four people on thanksgiving.....and that's with hubby helping. I need a MAID! take care S.Life may not always be the party

,I always have loved lighthouse paintings, especially after I worked a summer in Bar Harbor, Maine.I don't know where the energy came from for Thanksgiving, except that I am taking ritalin. I should say was taking ritalin because I stopped taking it as of yesterday -- I don't know if that's permanent or temporary. I have been getting these attacks -- something like a panic attack but they happen only when I lie down because I am way, way too tired. I was thinking it might be the withdrawal from the ritalin so I have stopped taking them for a few days. I slept for 14 hours today without them, though. They are a real crutch but I pay, pay, pay when I overestimate what I can really do.To: Neurosarcoidosis Sent: Thu, December 2, 2010 10:54:30 AMSubject: Re: Burp
