Guest guest
Ummm that would depend on drinking one or two drinks or drinking to get drunk. Once off painkillers, etc. I would say one or two would probably be Ok, but drinking to the point that you get drunk...hangover, poss vomiting combined with having jaw wired, banded etc. not a good idea. ~Joanne > Hey guys, just wondering if after surgery you should refrain from > drinking. Guest guest
my OMS said to stay off alcohol for at least 2 weeks post op and evenm after that to take it easy. I stayed away from alcohol for 3 weeks and then had my first mohjito. Since being back home in Italy I have been drinking a lot more but i find that I pay the price for my over indulgence the day after because i get more puffy and swollen than when i don't drink. Still, hard to give up the good wine. Sara > Hey guys, just wondering if after surgery you should refrain from > drinking.
