Ummm that would depend on drinking one or two drinks or drinking to

get drunk. Once off painkillers, etc. I would say one or two would

probably be Ok, but drinking to the point that you get

drunk...hangover, poss vomiting combined with having jaw wired,

banded etc. not a good idea.

my OMS said to stay off alcohol for at least 2 weeks post op and evenm

after that to take it easy. I stayed away from alcohol for 3 weeks and

then had my first mohjito. Since being back home in Italy I have been

drinking a lot more but i find that I pay the price for my over

indulgence the day after because i get more puffy and swollen than when

i don't drink. Still, hard to give up the good wine.
