Guest guest
Well, I met my knight in shinning armor (ok maybe it needed a little polishing....<grin>) from Love@aol! It was over 4 years ago. I had dated from that site before my surgery and after my surgery I just kept changing the picture. LOL I did date at 320 pounds....and even dated him after I started to lose weight....but he had some issues that were insurmountable (and nothing to do with weight) so we parted as friends. Then I got an email from . He took me on the most romantic first date ever and I do believe it was love at first sight (even though I wasn't ready to admit it or even TRUST another man....divorce issues). He has stuck with me through an arthroscopy on my left knee, a left knee replacement, a revision to my RNY (with a 67 pound regain), the knee replacement on my right knee, and now reconstructive surgery (which hasn't been easy on him with 9 dogs to care for PLUS me....but we are down to 7 dogs now and the puppies are growing). I have stuck with him through the loss of his daughter in a horrible plane accident, a few minor surgeries, and being laid off from Boeing. Hummmmm I think I have had the easier part. Guest guest
My prince will tell you he's my frog. But I love him, and I surely do miss him. Guest guest
I remember years ago going out to dance with my two gorgeous thin girlfriends in oh so body conscious Hollywood. They were dressed to the nines. I only had my Hawaiian coullottes (was on vacation from elsewhere) and was about 220 pounds. But I was happy! =========================================== I met Tim I was 232 lbs., when we got married I was 272 lbs., when I had wls I was 378 lbs. Prior to meeting Tim, I was very rarely without a boyfriend and when I was, it was because I wanted it that way. It wasn't until I hit well over 300, married and a mom that I started to feel closed in by my weight. However, when I go out now, I am full of confidence, love my clothes and get hit on all the time. Also think its a turn on to most guys when you are wearing a wedding band. I'll dance with them and drink with them, but they also know right up front what they are and are not getting out of me. Still wonder a lot of the times why they decide to hang out with me and my friends rather than go trolling for single women. Can't figure that one out. I realize that we're loads of fun, but they're still not going to get " any " . Any of you men out there able to explain this to me?
