Guest guest
Yeah I always thought I was born at the wrong time. Man! In the middle ages, I would have been somebody's idea of a Goddess! LOL. Phyllis Re: RE: Re: Body awareness > statuesque Ooh, I don't like this one -- back when I was in high school, I always wore thigh-top stockings instead of pantihose, and you would know, my size (the largest made at Sears at the time) was Statuesque. I took it to mean " your thighs are as big around as the Statue of Liberty's. " Not a pretty picture. ~~ Lyn G Homepage: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Graduate-OSSG Unsubscribe: mailto:Graduate-OSSG-unsubscribe

Guest guest
Somewhere in mid Manhattan, there are wonderful esque sculptures. Absolutely gorgeous, what we were meant to look like. Haven't been there is years, but always made me feel good. Guest guest
Read somewhere years ago that our increased height from one generation to the next was due to better nutrition (fortified everything) and more abundant food. Made sense at the time. Also read about the hormonal thing, but it was stated that that is the reason that our newer generations are going into puberty at a younger age. Go figure...don't think anyone really knows, LOL! Reba > Anyone notice that the youngsters today are much taller at much younger > ages? Guest guest
Years ago I had a shrink tell me to go check out the Reubenesque ladies at the library plus the ancient fertility deities statues. All were BIG adored/worshiped women. No light weights back then! Also told me that I had to think about the positive things that I could do because I was large...like opening big glass store front doors. I think of that everytime I have trouble pushing those darned things open now. <G> Reba > Reubenesque is another good one. Reuben painted fat women. Pretty fat women, > but fat nonetheless. I was always a Reuben, and I still think of myself that > way. > > Jac
